Plane Crash

Guided 6+ hour hike that moderate to hard.

Beautiful scenery, waterfalls, and creek crossings

In 1946 an RCAF DC-3 Dakota struck a mountain in bad weather and crashed near the headwaters of North York Creek, killing all seven on board. The Plane Crash Trail is a 22 km loop located on the west end of Coleman, Alberta that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult.

Unfortunately due to permitting, this hike will not be available on short notice.
